Intent on enhancing the growing success that Movember has had throughout the years, Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada has designed a contest to support this important cause. For every $100 raised fervent supporters and registered fundraisers for Movember, also affectionately known as "Mo Bro" or "Mo Sista", will receive one ballot for the chance to win a 2012 Night Rod Special VRSCDX motorcycle. Additionally, they will each receive a ticket to attend a local Movember Closing Gala Party, where Mo Bro's and Mo Sista's will showcase their immaculate grooming and celebrate the finest Mos competing in a number of category titles including Best Mo in Character, Miss Movember, and of course, Man of Movember 2011. Participating Canadian HarleyDavidson Retailers will be setting up their own fundraising teams for the cause as well, and will carry limited supplies of iconic Movember Harley-Davidson T-Shirts with proceeds going towards Prostate Cancer Canada. To show even more corporate support towards the cause, Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada is offering Metroland Media Carguide Magazine Korean automakers dominated the 11 categories of the Best New Car awards staged by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC). The overall 2012 Canadian Car of the Year or the 2012 Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year will be announced on February 16th, 2011, at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto. The winners were announced last week following tabulation of votes cast over four days by automotive journalists from across the country. The winners by category were: Best New Small Car (under $21k) Hyundai Accent Best New Small Car (over $21k) Hyundai Elantra Best New Family Car (under $30k) Kia Optima Best New Family Car (over $30k) Kia Optima Hybrid automakers from writers Best New Luxury Car MercedesBenz C-Class C350 4MATIC Sedan Best New Prestigue Car (over $75k) Mercedes-Benz S-Class S350 BlueTEC 4MATIC Best New Sport/Performance Car (under $50k): Hyundai Veloster Best New Sport/Performance Car (over $50k): BMW 1 Series M Coupe Best New SUV/CUV (under $35k) Dodge Journey Best New SUV/CUV ($35k$60k) Volkswagen Touareg TDI Clean Diesel Best New SUV/CUV (over $60k) BMW X3 The results were compiled by the international accounting firm KPMG and kept confidential even from AJAC until the announcement was made. Winners were determined from more than 40,000 individual data points established in the testing of 170 different vehicles. Get your "mo"growing.
