(Bill) Passed away after a short illness at York Central Hospital on December 23, 2011 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his loving wife Eileen (nee Haye, 1987). Loving father to Scott and his wife Caroline and Warren and his wife Gabriella. Cherished Grandfather to Sarah and Stephanie; Thomas and Natalie. Brother to Robert (predeceased L a Vo n ) , S t e w a r t ( J u d y ) a n d predeceased by Bruce and sister Mary. Bill was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and was a proud 44 year veteran of the American Can Company. He raised his family in Oakville, Ontario and was an active member of the Maple Grove United Church, OMHA and OMBA. Bill will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Oakville Chapel", 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville on Wednesday December 28th, 2011 from 2-5 p.m. A private family service will be held in the chapel.
