The minor bantam AA Rangers' OMHA final with Whitby will get underway tonight in Whitby. Game 2 of the series is slated for Saturday, a 3 p.m. start at River Oaks Recreation Centre. The Rangers swept Ancaster last round. The minor bantam AE Rangers are off to a good start in their championship series with Whitby, claiming the opener 6-1 Tuesday at Glen Abbey. After Game 2 tonight in Whitby, the series will return to Oakville March 22 for Game 3, a 7:50 p.m. start at Glen Abbey. The Rangers are coming off a 3-1 series win over Brampton. The bantam AE 2 Rangers will take on Uxbridge Minor in their OMHA final. Oakville swept Garden City Merritton last round. The championship series is not scheduled to begin until Monday in Uxbridge. The minor midget AA Rangers defeated Stoney Creek 4-1 Monday at Joshua's Creek Arenas to earn a 3-2 series win in the semis and advance to play Kingston Area in the final. The first two games of that series will be played this weekend in Kingston, with Oakville hosting Game 3 next Friday. The minor midget AE Rangers, coming off a 3-2-1 series win over Stoney Creek, will take on Peterborough Church in their OMHA final. The series will begin Saturday at Oakville Arena, a 3 p.m. faceoff.
