Kony 2012 will be screened at Walton Memorial United Church on Friday, March 30 at 7 p.m. A second screening will take place in the gymnasium of Sheridan College in Oakville on Monday, April 9 at 2 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. There will be a question-andanswer session with representatives of Invisible Children following the screening. The film follows on the organization's earlier film, titled Invisible Children: The Rough Cut, which is about a group of children caught up in the war of northern Uganda that began in 1987. The original film features children being abducted by Joseph Kony and his terrorist group, the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). The children then become child soldiers. Invisible Children is a charity and continues to work in Central Africa in LRA-affected communities.
