Playing his first game of the Ontario Lacrosse Association junior B season, the Ajax native scored five times and added four assists to lead the Oakville Buzz to a 14-7 win over the Mississauga Tomahawks Wednesday in Mississauga. Nakasuji, who had 16 goals and 22 helpers in 10 games with the Buzz last year, was late in rejoining the team this season because his Limestone University team reached the NCAA Division 2 finals. Robert Bentivegna also enjoyed a productive evening for Oakville, finishing with three goals and four assists. Colton Watkinson chipped in three more goals for the Buzz, with Elliott Cowburn, Keyan McQueen and Bryan Campbell rounding out the scoring. Ian Duffy picked up the win in net. The Buzz will play a home-and-home with the Orillia Kings this weekend. Oakville will host the first meeting Friday at Glen Abbey Recreation Centre (an 8 p.m. start) before traveling to Orillia Sunday afternoon. Breast cancer golf tourney The annual Tournament of Hope in support of Breast Cancer Support Services will be held Thursday, June 7 at Oakville Executive Golf Course. The cost to participate in the event is $115 per golfer, which includes green fee, lunch and prizes. The event will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Those who aren't playing are still welcome to attend the lunch. The cost for lunch only is $35 per person.
