Free tech workshop for Halton seniors Seniors are invited to attend a free technology workshop at Sheridan College Monday (June 11). The 1-4 p.m. workshop is being hosted by the Halton Elder Abuse Prevention Network in partnership with the Halton Regional Police Service, Ontario Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse, Sheridan Elder Research Centre, and the Elder Technology Assistance Group. Seniors will learn about the newest technology gadgets and how to protect themselves against computer viruses, hackers, identity theft, Internet scams and elder abuse. Sheridan College is at 1430 Trafalgar Rd. The workshop is in Room J102. Parking is free.
