Deliver a Random Act of Kindness on Friday By John Bkila OAKVILLE BEAVER STAFF As a community's population grows, it's sometimes hard to keep that small-town feel and the neighbourly kindness that comes with it -- that's why Oakville Community Foundation (OCF) CEO Rusty Baillie decided to bring Random Acts of Kindness to town. Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Day, which is this Friday (Nov. 9), encourages residents to do something nice for their family, friends, co-workers and even strangers on the day -- this year will be the second time Oakville has recognized RAK Day. "We started it because the town is growing significantly -- it's really changing. We think it's really important to keep the small town, neighbourly feel. Look out for your neighbours, particularly as we grow and change... and let's embrace the wonderful and nice town we have," Baillie said.
