The Canadian Cancer Society Halton Unit will host the annual kickoff at 7 p.m., at Oakville Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Rd. Participants old and new are invited to go and learn about the plans underway for the 2013 Relay For Life in Oakville -- set for Friday, May 31 at Appleby College. Kickoff attendees will have the chance to register their team, ask questions and learn about the new team activities, games and entertainment that are hoped to make the 2013 bigger and better. Attendees will also have the chance to vote for this year's relay theme. The first 20 teams to register will be entered to win the early bird prize, which includes a special tent set up on their tent site along with a goodie basket filled with treats to help the team get through the night.
