The group calls the event a training forum for people wishing to expand their acting skills or to learn something new. The One Act Night will actually take place over two nights, on May 24 and 25. The event will feature several oneact plays using basic set and lighting and found costumes and props. The Oakville Players calls this an opportunity for back stage people to try acting, relatively inexperienced actors to try a larger role, and experienced actors to have some fun. Finders Keepers Finders Keepers, a dramatic comedy directed by Bernard Pointet, is about an elderly woman with mental health problems that have led her to become a hoarder, which creates a problem for her daughter.
