The Oakville and Burlington-based band recently released its self-titled debut album. The band has performed at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern, Lee's Palace and the Hard Rock Café. Crowe was also featured on air as Indie Band of the Month on 102.1 the Edge. Crowe consists of Tim Crowe on vocals and rhythm guitar, Don Reilly on drums and vocals, Stephen Sydor on lead guitar and vocals and Sean Dubreuil on bass. The band members pride themselves on their style of play, calling themselves four guys with microphones, guitars, amps and drums. They don't use auto-tune, Pro-Tools, DJs or other studio tricks. They received radio play on Hamilton station CFMU FM 93.3. Tickets for the Moonshine Café concert cost $10. Dave Murphy will open the concert at 9 p.m., followed by the Crowe set. The café is located at 137 Kerr St. Crowe will also perform at Toronto's The Hideout, 484 Queen St. W. on Friday, May 10.
