The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said a 34year-old Hamilton man remains in critical condition following a motorcycle accident on the QEW near Bronte Road Sunday afternoon. Police said at 2:10 p.m., a man was riding a 2010 Suzuki Motorcycle eastbound on the QEW when for unknown reasons the bike went out of control and hit the south side grass median. The rider fell off the motorcycle on the Bronte Road northbound on-ramp. The motorcycle continued and came to rest on the South Service Road adjacent to the QEW. Sgt. Police were alerted through phone calls from witnesses who reported a motorcycle travelling erratically and at a high speed before the crash, Schmidt said. Emergency services personnel attended the scene and the victim was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
