COBS Bread bakery's Lakeshore, Foxcreek Plaza and Upper Middle Road locations will be donating $2 for every 12-pack of dinner rolls it sells on Saturday (Oct. 12) and Sunday (Oct. 13). "COBS is passionate about making a big impact in our community," area manager Karen Frost said in a news release. "We are really excited about this weekend and the impact that each customer can make simply by buying dinner rolls they were already planning on getting for the Thanksgiving feasts." Last year, Food for Life delivered 1.3 million pounds (approximately 589,670 kilograms) of food -- worth more than $4 million -- and helps feed more than 22,000 people every month.
