On Tuesday, Aug. 12, at around noon, Chris Shannon was at work when he received an anxious call from his 19-year-old daughter alerting him to trouble at home. "She said `Dad, there's something leaking through the basement,'" said Shannon. "I went out and bought some cleaning products. I thought I would take care of it myself until I realized how extensive it was. There wasn't one corner of the basement that was untouched... This wasn't liquid, this was raw, solid sewage."
