Join in on the Oakville Historical Society's ghost walk. The annual event, which kicks off Thursday, Oct. 16, is a one-hour tour that takes participants through the downtown heritage district, offering a view of life in the town in the 1800s and also including local ghost stories. Each tour is followed by refreshments and the cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children. Reserve a spot by calling 905-844-2695. Participants meet at the historical society's 110 King St. office.
