The competition ran throughout the summer and invited Oakville students in Grades 7-12 to submit original photographs in two categories: nature and the environment and enhanced images (meaning original, digitally rendered photos). The library received dozens of submissions and honoured the achievements of nine junior photographers, based on decisions by judges Michael Willems, Dave Hook and Bill Smith. Winning photos (some pictured above) are displayed at the Central Branch at Navy Street and Lakeshore Road.
