The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday May 22, 2002 - A11 St. Thomas Aquinas fashion show benefits Evergreen St. Thomas Aquinas students abandonned their school uniforms last week for the latest in fashionwear at a fashion benefit for the Yonge Street Mission in Toronto. Funds raised at the show will benefit the Toronto-based organization, Evergreen, which is one of five branches of the Yonge Street Mission. This charity focuses on meeting the needs of Toronto's large street youth popula tion. A group of 50 students, led by an organizing committee of six, have taken on the fundraiser as part of the OAC Business Administration program at school.
