M acDougald, 1826-1891, was played by story teller Francine Landry, w ho decided to play the part o f this little-known Chisholm descendant to tell eerie but true tales o f Oakville's haunted past to small groups o f people participating in the Oakville Historical Society's historical G host Walk. T his w alk was part o f the society's 50th anniver sary celebration and will becom e an annual event. It was inspired by Joyce Burnell's book Ghosts o f Oakville.
