Description
A postcard sent to Reverend R.B. Layton in San Fernando, Trinidad. The Midland Railroad Bridge stretches over the Shubenacadie River at South Maitland, Nova Scotia.
Inscriptions
Reverse side reads:
"Here we are at the meeting of the Presbyterial. Very heavy rain yesterday. Mr Hugh Fraser and I were stranded at W.Junction as our train was late and missed the Blue Nose [sic]. Got on in the afternoon. Everyone inquiring for you. Mr. Fraser has not come, the only missionary to address the meeting tonight will be Rev. McKay from Macao, China- So sorry not to have any on from Trinidad to speak to the women . We are all well. Had a letter from Jean on Wednesday. Yours with love.
