The Rangers appeared to have the game won late in the third period on a rifle shot by Cameron Watts after Anthony Scalia and Steven Guzzo mucked it up in back of the net to free the puck, but the Storm raged back on the next play to even matters. It is the team's second tourney title so far this year. It was Oakville's Eric Murray scoring the tour ney winner over Guelph in 3-on-3, overtime action. The teams had battled to a 3-3 draw in regulation time with Murray, Jeff Sebben and Corey Martin scoring. Assists went to Jesse Majeski, Chris Hunt and Murray. Oakville started the tourney with a 3-1 win over Richmond Hill. Scorers were Corey Martin, Eric Murray and Brennan Kerr. Assists went to Murray and Carson Jenkin. In game two, goals by Jordan Gray, Bryan Carey, Michael LeDressay and Corey Martin lifted Oakville to a 4-2 win over Newmarket. Assists went to Eric Murray, Jamie March, Chris Egan and Tim Egan. In game three, Eric Murray tallied two goals against Markham, with Jesse Majeski and Corey Martin adding sin gles in a 4-1 win. Assists went to Martin, Jeff Sebben and Chris Egan. That win set up a semifinal game with Leaside. Oakville used goals by Michael LeDressay, Chris Hunt and Jeff Sebben to secure a 3-1 win and send the team to the final. Assists went to LeDressay, Eric Murray, Bryan Carey and Corey Martin. Strong goaltending by Oliver Wren and Mike McMurrich helped the team throughout the toumey.
