The developer `knew' the acquisition of the 136 acres meant a huge profit once the land was developed, but like any business, a chance/ risk was taken. Hopefully, the Town of Oakville and Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) stay true to the 2057 vision that creates, preserves and affords the livability that Oakville is known for, enhancing the natural, cultural, social and economic environments and the OMB denies the developer's claim to develop the land.
