Although it was very tir,ing for the gtrts, yet I'm surethey enjoyed all three performances. How could you tell? by the laughter that went on back stage, bUit most of all by the laughter from the audiences. Bill Landry: on beh!alf olf the cast, I would like to thank you publicly for the lovely luncheon you served -us after our Sunday night performance, it was a nice surprise and a very delicious spread. I would be very lax if I didn't thank the men who helped in 'the various capacities. Sid Patterson, Basal Cormier, E1d Court, Freddie Strutt, Jim Hopson, Ted Overland, Bill Hawes for his music Saturday night, Bob Exley and Nick Stefanik, and if I've missed anyone I'm sorry, but thank you gentlemen, we're very grateful. On Monday, Octolber 26th, 16 of our members visited the Port Creddt Auxiliary for a Social Evening. Entertainment was supplied by the Sweet Adelines, Barber Shop Singers, plus a fashion show, topped off Wlibh a delicious smorgasbord lunch. Saturday, November 7tlh the Ladies AuX'ildary wall be joining the Men's Branch in the Armistice Day Parade to uhe Cenotaph. We will be 1ining up at the Bronte Athlettc f[eJJdat approximately 10.15 A.M. Aitertlhe parade there wall be sandiWlichesand hot coffee served in the Legion Hall. Let's try and have a large turnout Tor this parade. Now we go on to the .next phase, and that is our Xmas Bazaar to be held Nov. 19th at 7.30 P.M. We would appreciate any donations and help you can offer. Everything we do is for Oharity, and what better time of year than the coming Xmas season to offer your services. Our next General Meeting Will be held Nov. 4th at 8 P.M. one week earlier since the second Wednesday fails on Nov. 11th which is Armistice Day. The dart league is now going great guns and everybody seems to be having a great night, at least if noise is a factor. I would ,liike to thank the couples who came out on two different Saturdays: to pllay golf, the last game ended ill a tie score SO we had an extra hole play-offs between Mike Cummings and Cora Winn beating Ron Mellis and Isobel Gilmour. At the moment I do not have Hi all the dates for our different sports but I wild have them all by meeting night. For you spOI1ts minded guys just in case you didn't see the paper Toronto Maple Leafs won a game, and would you believe it was against Montreal 6-2.
