This was there first year, although they did not do so well in their league they all enjoyed learning how to play soccer, and we could all see a great improvement in their play. Star players were John Evans and Doug Kay. ATOMS Age 6 to 8 years (Thistle) House league. Coached by Mr. Derricks. Finished 4th in the league and were losing finaliists in Atom playoffs. Star players were Derek Burrows and Doug Bennit. 1st MOSQUITOS (Eastview) House league age 9 to 11 yrs. Coached by Mr. Peters. These lads finished third in the league and made it to the quarter finails. .Star players were Kees Peters, RoLf Soeder and Brian Pennie. Soccer Roundup 2nd MOSQUITOS (Hearts) Age 9 to 11 yrs. House league. Coached by Steve Griffin and Gordon Street, These boys finished fourth in league play but lost 1-0 in playoff finals. They won one trophy in Oakville tournament. Star players Tim Marks, David Glud and Steve Wagland. 3rd. MOSQUITOS Halton and Peel District league, 10 to .12. Coached by Ted Hunting and Gerry Epping. Finished 3rd in league and made play-off semifinals. Star players Graham Bannister, Darcy Ball and Joey Jenson. PEE-WEE (Halton and Peel league Age 12 to 14. Coached by Peter Spekking. These boys finished 2nd in the league but were defeated in the finals of the play-offs. They won a trophy in the tournament. Star players Albert Spekking, Ed Roussien, Peter Perkovic and John Di-Clemete. BANTAMS Halton and Peel District league. Age 14 to 16 yrs. Coached by Jeff Cnosson. League champions and play-off champs. This was a brilliant per:formance. Star players were Henry Spekking, Glen Wilson, Rick Court, Terry MaCDonald who scored 49 goals. JUNIOR "A" National league Minor Section Toronto. Age 16 to 20 yrs. Coached by Reg GrifI fin. Finished fourth i nleague and made semi-finals in playoffs.
