Report cards can be picked up Aug. 31 to Sept. 3 Report cards for all non-graduating elementary students of the Halton District School Board (HDSB) will be available for pick up beginning Monday (Aug. 31). Report cards for students graduating from an elementary school were distributed in June. Due to labour action by Ontario teachers, board trustees supported the director of education's recommendation in June to allocate funds to create report cards for nongraduating elementary students. The labour action included not providing report card comments and not inputting student marks electronically. Report cards for senior kindergarten to Grade 7 students were produced during the summer with subject grades and learning skills only (no comments), totaling approximately 900,000 mark entries. These will be available for pick up between Aug. 31-Sept. 3 at the school students attended. Report cards not picked up will be distributed to families when school resumes in September.
