Grzyb, who was born and raised in Poland and moved to Oakville in 1987, has been painting for more than 30 years. "The love that I have for art has been a part of who I am since my childhood; that's why now, I am living my dream. I surround myself in colour and decorate and paint everything that I possibly can," she said. "Art is my soul, my creativity and my courage. I hope to inspire everyone who views my work to fulfill their life dreams." Grzyb's exhibit includes 15 acrylic pieces of abstract art and will be on display at the 312 Lakeshore Rd. E. restaurant until Sept. 28. "I cherish every single moment as a painter," she said. "All of my paintings are works of passion, creativity, history, opportunity and, at times, simplicity." Grzyb has attended Sheridan College, Haliburton School of Fine Arts, Burlington Art Centre and the Neilson Park Creative Centre, and has studied encaustic and cold wax techniques, as well as live drawing and painting. Her works have been shown in Oakville, Mississauga and Toronto, and past shows have been on display at Julia's Ristorante, Royal Le Page, Timothys' Coffee, CJ's Café and the Sovereign House.
