Public Meeting Proposed update to the First and Second Street Heritage Conservation District Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 7 p.m. Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Council Chamber You are invited to attend and provide input at this meeting hosted by Planning and Development Council. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the proposed draft of the updated plan and guidelines for the First and Second Street heritage conservation district. There will be no decision made to adopt the draft plan and guidelines at this meeting. Any submission to the Planning and Development Council, either in hard copy or in electronic format, must be forwarded to the Clerk's department for receipt no later than noon on October 7, 2015 to ensure its availability to the Members of Council at the meeting. Individuals making oral submissions at the public meeting are requested to submit a written outline of the submission to the Town Clerk. All submissions should include the full name and address of the presenter. If a person does not make oral submissions at this public meeting or make written submissions to the Council of the Town of Oakville, they may be later denied an opportunity to appeal the passing of a by-law adopting the heritage conservation district plan under subsection 41 (1) or under subsection (2). The public may request a hard copy of the draft plan at the Planning Services Department between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or on the town's website at oakville. ca and search for First and Second Street Conservation District. We're asking Oakville residents to complete a survey to assist the town in reviewing the current methods of traffic calming and current speed limits on all town roads (this does not include arterial regional roads such as Dundas Street, Trafalgar and Upper Middle roads and Dorval Drive).
