The project was determined through a Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study completed in 2010, identified as the New North Oakville Transportation Corridor and Crossing of Sixteen Mile Creek. The constructed corridor between Neyagawa Boulevard (Reg. Rd. 4) and Ninth Line (Reg. Rd. 13) will consist of a basic right-of-way width of 35m, a four-lane urban roadway comprised of two through lanes per direction, on-road bike lanes, a 3.0m multiuse pathway and a 1.5m sidewalk.
