(Bob) Chambers, of Milton, on April 11, 2016 in his 78th year. Bob passed away peacefully with his cherished wife Lillian at his side. Born in Oakville and predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Kenneth Chambers, Bob was the twin brother of the late Kenneth (Mavis), and older brother to Brian (Ann), and Peter. A much loved uncle, great uncle and greatgreat uncle of many nieces and nephews. Always smiling, always positive, he loved the simple things in life but mostly sitting on his deck on a warm summer day chatting with family and friends. Bob will be remembered for the energy and enthusiasm he brought to everything he tackled whether it was his career, helping friends and family, or working on a project around the house. He faced his many health issues with great courage and positive vigour, determined to overcome any setbacks through persistence. Bob would often say that a winner never quits and a quitter never wins. But, sadly, his last battle was one that he could not win and he left us far too soon. A very loving man who gave much of himself to all who knew him, Bob will be forever in our hearts. A private family celebration will be held to honour Bob's life. In lieu of flowers, donations to any of his favourite charities would be appreciated including the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Warplane Heritage, and The Canadian Legion. Beloved wife of the late Warren, she leaves her two children: Jim (Lesley) and Lynn (Terry); five grandchildren: Erin, Mathew, Cameron, Joel-Adam and LizAnn; and one great-grandchild, Liam.
