Police said the man and woman met online and dated for some time. Of cers allege when the relationship soured, the woman's computer was illegally accessed and her property was damaged. Police report in mid-May, the woman said she discovered a strange substance in her food and contacted them. Police said testing on the substance revealed it to be an acid, which police believe was intended to harm the woman. The woman sought medical treatment and of cers said there have been no lasting effects. Police made an arrest in connection with this incident on May 12.
