The celebration begins at 6:30 p.m. with an autograph session. Confirmed guests Confirmed guests include two-time Olympic bronze medallist Diana Matheson, four-time Olympic medallist Adam Van Koeverden, and Olympic Canoe-Kayak athlete KC Fraser. "This free event is Oakville' s opportunity to show our athletes in person how proud we are of their Olympic journey," said Oakville May or Rob Burton in a press release. "I hope everyone will join us to celebrate their accomplishments not just as athletes, but as role models for our community' s youths." The event will also include a pre-game ceremony in advance of the Oakville Blades hockey game. Oakville Blades included Sports fans are encouraged to make an eve ning of the celebration and stick around to cheer on the Oakville Blades as they take on the Toronto Patriots. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Oakville Blades Hockey Club and its tradition of hockey in the community. Kids under 12 can enjoy the game for free.
