The long-time east Oakville resident proved it last week as she ventured out onto the edge of the CN Tower roof Oct. 31 as part of the EdgeWalk at the CN Tower experience. Billed Toronto's tallest extreme urban adventure that pushes your personal limits to the edge, those who dare are taken onto the roof of the CN Tower's restaurant at 1,168 ft. above the ground for about 20-30 minutes. The idea to take part in the EdgeWalk was sparked by a conversation between Lorraine and her grandchildren last summer at the family cottage on Stony Lake near Peterborough, Lorraine told the Oakville Beaver. With her birthday on Sept. 5, her granddaughter-in-law Alexis Fraser asked if there was anything she would like to do that she hadn't yet already done in her lifetime. "Out of the clear blue sky, I said, `Well maybe I'd do the walk on the CN Tower,'" Lorraine recalled. "With that, she (Alexis) jumps up, grabs my hand to shake it and says, `OK, you're on. If you do it, I'll do it.'" see Fraser on p.14 Oakivlle's Lorraine Fraser, 94, taking The EdgeWalk at Toronto's CN Tower. | EdgeWalk photo I di didn't dn't e expect xpect to feel so comfortable here.
