At approximately 7:04 p.m., on that day, a grey Saturn Vue was traveling westbound on Lakeshore Road when it struck a cyclist from behind at the intersection of Third Line, police said. The driver of the Grey Saturn did not suffer any injuries. The 57-year-old Oakville cyclist, who is now being identi ed as Stephen Smith, was transported to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
