During Tuesday' s meeting, Town staff said these studies, which include a cultural heritage landscape assessment, an urban structure study and a land use and economic impact study, are not complete and called on council to give them an additional year to get the work done. In a report to council, Town staff pointed out the Ontario Planning Act allows the bylaw to be extended provided the total period of time does not exceed two years. ClubLink has appealed the original interim control bylaw to the Ontario Municipal Board. That hearing is scheduled for Jan. 30, 2017. In an interview with the Oakville Beaver in October 2015, ClubLink CEO K. Rai Sahi said the timeline for the Glen Abbey project is considerable. He noted even if everything goes right, the golf course would continue to function for the next five years or longer. m r y O r J ft -SEEINIj IS BELIEVING!
