As part of its annual Fraud Prevention Month 2017 campaign (#FPM2017), the Regional Fraud Unit is holding a free Fraud Awareness information session at the Halton Regional Cen tre auditorium, 1151 Bronte Rd., from 7-9 p.m. Officers will discuss typical scams they have encountered and provide a series of crime pre vention tips, as well as a review of recent crimi nal investigations. N o reservations are required. The session will include a question and answer segment.
