In early February, the OHF asked the community to "go above and beyond." Oakville residents and long-time hospital supporters June and Ian Cockwell took a leadership role contributing $ 5 0 0 ,0 0 0 to match donations received by March 31. As of March 31, $ 1 ,0 7 5 ,0 0 0 was donated toward the $1.5 million urgent equipment appeal for Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH). Since the opening of the new OTMH, patient volumes have increased dramatically. "The growth we are experiencing today was anticipated, but it's arrived sooner than expected," said Denise Hardenne, Halton Healthcare President and CEO.
