Switching Gears 2017 -- Transportation Master Plan (TMP) Update N o tic e o f S tu d y C o m m e n c e m e n t a n d P u b lic I n f o r m a t i o n C e n t r e # 1 Switching Gears 2013 incorporates transportation, land use planning and financial strategy which respects the social, environmental and economic goals as defined by the Livable Oakville Plan and other town and provincial strategies. This TMP update will review the transportation network improvements focusing on future transit targets to accommodate growth in 2031, and provide input into the town's upcoming Development Charge By-Law. Building on the success of the town's recent Active Transportation Master Plan update, Goods Movements Study and Pedestrian Study, staff will be seeking public feedback to guide the TMP update. The TMP update is being completed consistent with the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study process. A key component is two public consultation opportunities.
