The Civitan Appreciation Award was presented for his long and ongoing involvement with the annual Civitan Fishing Derby for citizens with physi cal, or learning disabilities. Rawlings, an Oakville Rotarian, has been donating a Polaroid camera and all the film for the Derby since its incep tion 22 years ago. Hogge noted that this donation made each year adds up to a substantial contribution over the years, and he thanked Rawlings for his community spirit. Oakville Civitans also gave one of their own the highest club award it is possible to receive - a Club Honour Key. Civitan Doug Guthrie is the seventh recipient of the award, in the club's 40 year history. The award was last pre sented in 1987.
