Are you also having an ultrasound? Are you thinking you'll have to make separate trips for all these tests? Physician referrals for mammography, bone density and ultrasound testing at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital can be coordinated to avoid returning another day for extra tests. And... it's now possible to book a mammogram or bone density test on the same day you call for an appointment. Thanks to the arrival of our new, state-of-the-art equipment, our waiting lists for mammography have virtually disappeared. Patients requiring additional follow-up tests, or callbacks, are seen immediately in order to relieve unnecessaiy anxiety. The Mammography Program at O TM H is fully accredited by the Canadian Association of Radiologists. This accreditation status indicates that the O TM H Dl Department meets the required standards established by the Association, which includes the availability of qualified radiologists and certified mammography technologists.
