The Oakville Corbett's placed three men on it, second to Burlington Centennials and The Dundas Chiefs who placed five apiece. T he O a k v i l l e candidates were very predictable. Second baseman Bob Conrad who is sporting a high three hundreds average and currently leads the league in hits was an obvious choice. Pitcher John McKenzie was also named. He has one of the best earned run averages in the league and has won more games than any other pitcher in the league. McKenzie is also the strike out leader and is one of the top two in completed games. Hard-hi t t ing Gord Currie made the team as an outfielder. He has an over th ree hundred average and is one of the most consistent extra­ base hitters in the league. Corbett's manager Bud McKay was named to the coaching staff of the team which will be headed by Dundas Chief's Bill Harvey. NOVICE Barry Broughton came t h r o u g h wi t h an outstanding four goal p e r f o r m a n c e for Trafalgar Fuels as they dropped Bayley MacLean 8-4. Danny Vasily added a pair of markers, Edwin Luzar and Kevin Green netted one and Blaise Rodden helped on one goal. The Bayley scorers were Brad Pennock with a pair and Bruce Donovan and Steve Maybee with a goal and an assist each. Bayley ended up with a split on the week as they nipped Oakville Police by a 3-2 score. Bruce Donovan again helped the Bayley cause, this time picking up two goals. Kelly Nemes got the third. In with assists for the winners were Raymond V e e n e m a n , B r a d Pennock and Dave Taylor. Jason Wood and Leslie Williams notched the Oakville Police scores and Danny Johnson added a helper. BANTAM In Bantam play, Rick McDermaid was the sparkplug for Pennwalt in their 7-3 dumping of Donn Products. He bagged a hat trick and an assist in the win. Danny Erb added two goals and Greg Andrews and Rick Kilburn put in singles. Tom Montgomery was good for an assist for Pennwalt. Bob Troch found the scoring range twice for Donn and Jim Wright rounded out their goal scoring. Dave Tutch and Chris Fennell got an assist apiece. Pennwalt dropped a 3-2 decision to Thorne Plumbing in their other game this week. Paul Kempe scored twice and Paul Herwynen once for Thorne. Rick McDermaid came through for one goal in the Thorne game and Danny Erb also tallied once. Again it was Tom Montgomery who came up with an assist.
