Abid has been the pri- mary executive of Garth Webb Secondary School's Me to We club, a subset of Free the Children, for four years and regularly volun- teers at McMaster Chil- dren's Hospital. Her accomplishments include creating her own nonprofit organization, Aiza's Teddybear Founda- tion, which sends stuffed toys to children at home- less shelters and children's hospitals in Ontario. Since 2013, her founda- tion has provided approxi- mately 15,000 stuffed toys, tens of thousands of school supplies and clothing do- nations to children across the province. Bishop is pursuing a bachelor of commerce de- gree from the University of Guelph and volunteers at the Girl Guides of Canada and Duke of Edinburgh programs. She received the citi- zenship award and the Canada cord award from Girl Guides and has been a volunteer in municipal elections, achieving 1,300 volunteer hours during her time at Iroquois Ridge High School. Pathak acts as the court clerk with the mock trial team at Abbey Park High School and has led her team to win the bronze medal at the Halton Dis- trict School finals. She is also the commu- nications director of her school's Legal Eagle group, where she has in- creased membership and hosted large events, and volunteers at Ten Thou- sand Villages, whose mis- sion is to support fair trade.
