We believe they can create new possibilities for their future through positive role models and support. Youth development is even more important during the summer months, when school is out. KSM has partnered with Community Action Network (CYAN) for the CYAN Summer Passport Program that offers the opportunity for a chance for youth to earn community service hours and develop leadership skills over the summer. It is designed for youth aged 12-18 that want to get involved in the community. Each week participants will experience a variety of developmental and leadership opportunities, including workshops, special speakers, field trips and volunteering with several local organizations. The interest in the program has been very high and we are happy to announce that the program is full with 25 students signed up for each week! In addition to the CYAN Passport program, KSM's Youth Summer Drop in will also be running at KSM from 12 pm - 4 pm every day to further engage our youth during the summer.
