Maintenance activities include cutting and mulching of all overhanging vegetation along the west bank of the channel and removal of larger areas of debris using specialized equipment working from within the channel. These works are necessary to ensure the diversion channel remains clear of debris and blockages in order to safely convey flood flows from the upstream watershed area. The project is scheduled to start the week of November 26th, 2018. The adjacent pedestrian trail will remain open over the duration of the project. Signage will be posted at trail entrances notifying the public of the work and providing additional information. PROJECT LIMIT
