John Larsen photo LIGHTNING STRIKE OAKVILLE Organizers of this year's 39th annual Oakville Terry Fox run are hoping to raise a record $200,000 to support the ground- breaking cancer research sup- ported by the event. The run will be held on Sun- day, September 15 at Coronation Park, 1426 Lakeshore Rd. W., at 10 a.m., with registration begin- ning at 9 a.m. Register or form a team for free. The event is non-competitive and family-friendly with leashed dogs welcome partici- pants. This annual tradi- tion has raised thousands for the Terry Fox Foundation over the years.
