Melissa Cameron, the di- rector of development and marketing for Acclaim Health emphasized the merger will not result in any reduction in the dementia care service currently planned for 2250 Speers Rd. "The new centre will now house Acclaim Health's eight overnight respite beds, an expanded Acclaim Health adult day program, the SENACA adult day pro- gram and caregiver support space," said Cameron. "We had extra room in the building that we had been saving for future use. We'll now use it for the SE-We'll now use it for the SE-W NACA adult day program.NACA adult day program.N It's a really nice complemen- tary service to add to the mix." SENACA currently oper- ates three adult day pro- grams, two in Oakville and one in Mississauga. One of the Oakville loca- tions will move to the new Speers Road centre while the locations of the other Oakville facility and the Mississauga facility will stay the same. "This creates wonderful opportunities to better inte- grate client care and will create an organization that is better positioned to advo- cate for and support the needs of our community."
