ARMED ROBBERY HAS POLICE HUNTING TRIO LOUIE ROSELLA lrosella@metroland.com Halton police are inves- tigating after a vandalism spree in an Oakville com- munity left at least 14 vehi- cles damaged. On Saturday, Oct. 26 be- tween 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., two individuals ap- proached multiple homes in the Third Line and Up- per Middle Road area, grabbed rocks or bricks they found at those prop- erties and used them to damage vehicles in the driveways. Police said the suspects smashed vehicle windows or threw the objects onto the hoods of the vehicles. Officers said it does not appear any of these cars were entered and nothing was stolen. The individuals appear to have targeted homes close to public foot paths and large green spaces, po- lice said. The incidents were reported on Sandpip- er Road, Forestview Trail, Bloomfield Drive, Deer Park Road, Brookstar Drive, Summer Heights Trail, Blackthorn Place, Windrush Drive and Rose- berry Crescent. NEWS AT LEAST 14 VEHICLES DAMAGED DURING VANDALISM SPREE DAVID LEA dlea@metroland.com Halton Regional Police are on the hunt for three women after a major theft at an Oakville Lululemon. Officers say the trio walked into the popular store on Lakeshore Road East on Oct. 6 and stole cloth- ing with a total value of $5,938.99. Karen Kowalczyk, a regu- lar Lululemon shopper, said she spoke with staff the day after the incident, and one of them told her it was a "co-or- dinated plan." The women are described as being aged 30-50. One had blond hair pulled up in a bun, was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black run- ning shoes and was carrying a black leather purse. An- other had black short hair, was wearing a green sweater with a white cotton T-shirt underneath, blue jeans, grey walking shoes and was car- rying a black purse. The third had brown/ black hair to her shoulders, was wearing a white and grey sweater, black pants and black and grey winter boots. She was carrying a black leather purse and a large plastic bag with a rect- angular box inside it. This theft follows a series of criminal incidents at the popular clothing store in Halton this year.
