Gilles Rivard photo ANIMAL TALES Halton police are investi- gating after an Oakville teen was robbed in his home on Friday, Dec. 6. At 10:45 p.m., the 15-year- old boy was at his home in the Dundas Street East and Trafalgar Road area when there was a knock at the door. When the youth an- swered two male suspects forced their way inside andforced their way inside andf stole a phone and two pairs of shoes from the victim, po- lice said. No one was injured dur- ing this incident. Police were called to the scene after the suspects fled.fled.f Officers attempted to use a K9 unit to track the thieves but were unsuccessful. No description of the sus- pects is available. At 6:45 a.m., the individ- ual was crossing the street at the intersection of Tra- falgar Road and Upper Mid-falgar Road and Upper Mid-f dle Road when he was hit. The vehicle remained on the scene. The victim was trans- ported to a hospital in Ham- ilton. Police were unable to say how seriously the man was hurt. At this point no charges have been laid in connec- tion with this incident. NEWS PEDESTRIAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER BEING HIT BY VEHICLE DAVID LEA dlea@metroland.com Less than two weeks af- ter making a public plea for help in solving a rash of graffiti incidents in Oak- ville, Halton police have made an arrest. Actually, it was GO transit officers who made the arrest on Dec. 15, taking a young woman into custo- dy in relation to mischief offences on their property in Oakville. Halton police then charged the woman with "several acts of graffiti" in the south-west end of Oak- ville from Nov. 27 to Dec. 2, Det.-Sgt. Barrett Gabriel said in a release. Justus Choquette, 27, of Oakville, has been charged with nine counts of mis- chief under $5,000 and one count of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). The arrest was made af- ter Halton police released surveillance videos of a suspect on Dec. 4 in hopes of a breakthrough in the case. Choquette was released from custody with a future court date.
