Since mid-November police say they have seen a spike in graffiti targeting com- mercial buildings, schools, fences and bus shelters. The reported incidents were pri- marily concentrated in the southwest area of Oakville and are believed to have oc- curred in the early morning hours. Police said six incidents of tagging were reported in the area of Lakeshore Road West and Nelson Street on Monday, Dec. 2. The suspect is described as female, white, in her early 20s, with brown hair and a thin build. Police are encouraging residents to re- port any suspicious activity.
