The rail corridor has since been acquired by Metrolinx and is referred to as the Lakeshore Rail Corridor. The Addendum was carried out in accordance with the Municipal Class EA process to address access requirements for two properties located north of the rail corridor, that require modifications as a result of the realignment of Kerr Street. The EA Addendum was prepared with the evaluation of alternative solutions and designs, assessment and potential impacts, identification of mitigation measures for adverse impacts, and the inclusion of public and agency consultation. An Online Public Engagement session was held between September 12 and September 27, 2019. Study Recommendations The Addendum to the ESR recommends a southern connection to Wyecroft Road through an undeveloped section of 700 Kerr Street and a portion of 656 Kerr Street. Public Review of the Addendum Report The Addendum to the ESR is available for review until March 9, 2020. The report is available on the town's website at oakville.ca. Thebusiness licensingby-lawprovides for the licensing and regulation of various businesses that operate in Oakville including restaurants, nail salons, taxicabs, building renovators, landscapers and driving schools to name a few. The main goal of the licensing by-law is to focus on consumer protection, health and safety of the public, and nuisance control. Included in the review is the opportunity to licence additional businesses including: • payday loan establishments • mobile services • private parking enforcement officers • vaping establishments We are asking the public and industry stakeholders for their input on what those regulations should look like.
