Preceded in death by her husband Edward Peeling Groover. Loving mother of Debra (Stephen), Kirk (Susan), Tim ( Shari), and Kristi (Dave). Grandchildren Andrew (Katelyn), Kate, Kaylea (Raf), Kristopher, Zachary, Samantha, Amanda (Kyle), Lucas, Karly & Meagan. Great-grandchild Hendrick. Affectionately known by many as GG (Gramma Groover) was almost 95 and lived an extremely healthy life. She was the "voice with a smile" loved Church, was a lifelong member of the choir and was a member of the IODE for a record number of years. Mom lived a long healthy life because she was a good person. She was charitable, religious, and genuinely concerned about everyone. Knowing how much mom was loved by all her family, which she commented about often, played a significant role in her long happy life. She was the best mom anyone could have, unquestionably on our side. GG was a happy person, outgoing and very social. She believed in God and had one hell of a good life. There will be a celebration of GG's life when we all get back to normal after this virus situation gets under control. In the meantime in lieu of flowers, donations to St John's United Church in Oakville www.stjohnsunited.ca would greatly be appreciated.
