Learning that her time was limited, she took care to generously express her love to each family member and to reminisce with all of us about a life well lived. Having been isolated in a retirement home for the past year due to COVID, it was a blessing to have this time with her. Joyce Clawson, born to Edward and Isabel MacPhail, sister of the late Elmer ED MacPhail, wife of the late Ernest Clawson, Mom to daughter Linda Clawson, daughter Nancy Potter and her husband Stephen Potter, daughter Karen Widman and her husband David Widman, Gram to David Potter, his wife Clarissa and their children Wesley and Oscar; Eric Potter, his wife Zofia and baby Alexander, Luke Potter, Andrew Clawson, Olivia Clawson, Josh Widman and Emma Widman. WRIGHT, Reginald Clark February 27, 1943 - January 21, 2021 ------------------ It is with great sadness that we advise the passing of Reg on Thursday, January 21, in his 78th year. Predeceased by his wife Gloria Ann Miller. Survived by his son Timothy (Monica) of Burnaby, B.C., and his partner Lyn MacLeod. Reg was born in Toronto, but spent most of his life in Port Credit, then Oakville, finally down- sizing to a home in Burlington. Reg was an avid gardener and took great pride in cultivating his Oakville property. Reg spent his business career as a Bell Canada employee of 30 plus years, and then in his early retirement years working with Phoneware, an Irish based Tele-communication company. Reg will fondly be remembered for his awesome sense of humor as he could find the irony in almost every situation. Reg was ardent in the rescuing and raising of Airedale Terriers, his prized and beloved pets. Reg was also passionate in his love and involvement of sports, most notably, he was the long-time Referee in Chief of the Mississauga Minor Lacrosse Association, an official in the Ontario Lacrosse League, and the Ontario Hockey League, dedicating many hours over his lifetime to Minor Sports At his request there will be no service. Cremation is taking place with interment at a later date beside his late wife Ann at Glen Oaks Cemetery in Oakville.
