Verna (Mom) was 92 years of age when she passed away peacefully with family at her side on Tuesday April 27, 2021. She was predeceased by her daughter Sally, and husband Harry. She has five children (Susan, Jim, Janet, Sandi and David), ten grand- children (Brandon, Harrison, Carson, Luke, Kaeli, Jordan, Christopher, Keegan, Shawna and Krista) and four great- grandchildren (Hailey, Kendra, Finley and Lincoln). Mom was an avid golfer and active member of the Oakville Golf Club for 49 years and played up to and into her 92nd year. She also enjoyed travelling (especially cruises) and together with Harry brought the magic of Disney to the whole Madill family for over 30 years. Mom was the "silent" but supportive partner in helping shape Madill Pharmacy that is our family's legacy throughout Oakville and its surrounding community. Mom's journey however is not over. She will be forever in our hearts, and we take comfort in knowing she has reunited with passed family. Together with Dad, they will live on enjoying yet another round of golf as old playing partners do. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private service has taken place at Glen Oaks Funeral Home. WARK, Margaret Dorreen December 30, 1943 - May 2, 2021 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Margaret passed away at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital after a brave battle with glioblastoma. She was the loving wife of Ross for over 52 years, and proud mother of Michael (Jennifer) and Amy (Domenic). Caring grandmother of Ben, Sophie and the late Sarah. Sister to Velma, Aunt to Kristen and Norman, (late Melanie) and Lisa. Sister-in-law of Les Wark (late Barb Sorensen), Lorraine Wark (late Murray), and the late Robert and Gill Wark. We are grateful for the treatment Margaret received at Credit Valley Hospital and the care provided in her final months on the palliative care unit at OTMH. We are also thankful for the support received from family, friends, neighbours and the caring community of Hillcrest United Church. Margaret was active in Bethel and Hillcrest United Churches, in addition to the Trafalgar Township Historical Society. She found great pleasure in tending to her flower beds and working in her vegetable garden, as well as many satisfying hours spent crafting and cooking for others.
